Coming up on the last few months of 2012(!!!) my mind is starting to turn to, not the holidays, but on my workouts. As you know, I schedule my workouts religiously and usually know what my workouts are months in advance (I think this stems from when I was training for road races more). I’m 1.5 weeks from finishing up my current workout program and so now I need to figure out what I’m going to do when I’m all done. First thing is to take a few weeks off due to the wedding and my honeymoon. Now taking time “off” does not mean I won’t work out at all, it just means I won’t be training or doing any sort of program but I will schedule in whatever it is that I’m going to do (most likely a mix of running and DVDs). Once we’re back from the honeymoon, it’s go time, baby! Time to finish this year off with a bang so I can lean out and gain some muscle!

If you have yet to schedule your workouts in advance, get on it! It completely takes the guesswork out of your exercise and you’re more likely to get it done if you write it down (true story)!
